About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the enterprise Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance initiative for the Core Payments Network, Issuing, and Acquiring functions across the US, Japan, and India. This role is critical in ensuring that the organization meets compliance requirements and involves collaboration with various teams across Technology. The Project Manager will be responsible for presenting project objectives, scope, and results to senior management, articulating the potential impact of control gaps in a professional manner. The role requires providing guidance to internal teams on actions needed to close gaps, including documenting alternative approaches that meet security objectives. The Project Manager will validate that actions taken to address gaps are appropriate and reported accurately, handle the execution and assimilation of evidence and other artifacts, and report and track identified risks and dependencies while producing detailed reports. This position will partner with Global Network Services Technology (GNST) and the enterprise to support prioritization in Planning Increment (PI) planning of multiple development workstreams related to the project. The successful candidate will ensure effective execution of assigned project tasks in line with professional standards, timelines, and objectives, and assist with process improvements for the PCI Program Management Office (PMO) based on findings from internal and external teams. Frequent collaboration and communication with key stakeholders, including vendor partners and internal teams, is essential, as is the creation of high-quality, executive-ready documentation and presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Present project objectives, scope, and results to senior management, clearly articulating the potential impact of control gaps.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on actions required to close gaps, including documenting alternative approaches that meet controls' security objectives.
  • Validate that actions or decisions taken to address gaps are appropriate and reported accurately.
  • Handle and facilitate the execution and assimilation of evidence and other artifacts.
  • Report and track identified risks and dependencies and produce detailed reports.
  • Partner across Global Network Services Technology (GNST) and the enterprise to support prioritization in Planning Increment (PI) planning of multiple development workstreams.
  • Ensure effective and efficient execution of assigned project tasks in conformance with professional and department standards, timelines, and objectives.
  • Assist with response efforts to implement process improvements for the PCI Program Management Office (PMO) in response to findings and recommendations from internal and external teams.
  • Frequent collaboration and communication with key stakeholders including vendor partners and internal teams.
  • Create high quality and executive-ready documentation and presentations.

Requirements

  • 6+ years relevant experience with compliance and risk management in Information Security, IT, or similar relevant experience with compliance programs, critical initiatives, regulatory reviews, risk assessments, and certifications.
  • Previous project or program management experience required.
  • Experience working with various types of Information Technology SMEs in leading complex and time-sensitive data requests.
  • Experience with cultivating and handling day-to-day relationships with various SMEs across an organization.
  • Experience working with Risk Programs and/or PCI DSS.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple projects, including ownership of core tasks, across multiple simultaneous or successive assignments.
  • Demonstrated track record of integrity, innovation, and excellence.

Nice-to-haves

  • Understanding of Technology operations and tech stack across GNST, Global Infrastructure (GI), and Technology Risk & Information Security (TRIS).
  • Knowledge of PI planning including product prioritization and engineering capacity.
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to understand technology gap findings and transform high-level direction into actionable plans.
