About the position

The Technical Project Manager will oversee a large, multi-workstream transformational Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system engagement, focusing on business process redesign, change management, and system implementation. This role involves managing a team of technical resources to ensure the successful delivery of a functional system to the end client, while maintaining strong relationships and demonstrating expertise in infrastructure fundamentals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 4-5 technical resources to guide and assist in the delivery of the EAM system.
  • Develop and maintain the project plan, defining scope, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and expectations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project challenges.
  • Regularly report on project status, budget, timeline, and risks to senior management.
  • Lead the design and configuration of the Cityworks/ESRI ArcGIS EAM system.
  • Oversee the integration of Cityworks/ESRI ArcGIS to ensure accurate spatial data representation.
  • Plan and manage data migration activities, including conversion and integration of existing asset data.
  • Ensure GIS and asset data in the EAM system are accurate and compliant with quality standards.
  • Develop maintenance and support plans for the Cityworks system.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting and support.
  • Monitor system performance and implement updates as necessary.
  • Gather feedback from users to identify system enhancements and optimize functionality.
  • Serve as a liaison between technical teams, project stakeholders, and end users.
  • Contribute to a change management strategy to promote user adoption.
  • Evaluate new features from Cityworks and ESRI ArcGIS for system enhancements.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive and relevant experience in IT and GIS infrastructure, software development, and operations.
  • 5+ years of extensive experience implementing enterprise-scale systems specifically with Cityworks/ESRI ArcGIS EAM systems.
  • Consulting and client management skills working with clients from the shop floor to the c-suite.
  • Experience across physical, virtual, and cloud enterprise scale systems such as EAM, GIS, CRM, and ERP.
  • Ability to function professionally under pressure while managing multiple projects.
  • Experience cultivating and leading high-performance teams.
  • Comfortable working with employees at all levels of the company.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Aviation/Airport experience/background is highly desirable.
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, finance, accounting, or related discipline.
