About the position

The Technical Project Manager will support a large enterprise banking client in a consulting engagement focused on regulatory projects and initiatives. This role requires extensive experience in project management within the banking sector, particularly in compliance areas such as AML/KYC and BSA. The position is contract-based for a duration of 12 months or more, with the potential for extension.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical projects related to regulatory compliance in the banking sector.
• Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
• Present project updates and findings to business unit leaders in a large enterprise bank.
• Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project delivery and facilitate scrum processes.
• Conduct problem analysis and develop solutions using techniques such as fishbone analysis.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Management experience in systems delivery and process change management within large retail banking.
• Experience in US Banking Regulatory compliance project management, specifically in AML/KYC, BSA, CFPB, OFAC, and FRB programs.
• Professional experience presenting to business unit leaders in a large enterprise banking environment.
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, structuring, validation, and traceability.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies and experience in mixed SDLC banking environments.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience as an Agile development/scrum master, including developing user stories.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with banking industry platforms such as Salesforce, Encino, Axiom, and ACBS.
• Certifications such as PMP, CBAP, SAFe, or CSM are valued.
