About the position

The Technical Proposal Writer will be responsible for planning, writing, and delivering technical content for proposals in response to government solicitations. This role requires converting complex technical concepts into clear, compliant, and engaging content while adhering to industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical proposal writing and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful proposal submissions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, write, and deliver technical content for proposals.
• Gather and analyze technical data to document features and functionalities accurately.
• Write with creativity and marketing flair to enhance proposals.
• Interview Solution Architects to gather win themes and storylines for proposals.
• Ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity in documentation.
• Edit and proofread proposals for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information.
• Adhere to deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Learn new technologies to benefit customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience in GovCon technical proposal writing.
• Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to visualize information for multiple audiences.
• Self-starter with the ability to work effectively with limited supervision.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to collaborate on a team.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a time-sensitive environment and meet deadlines.
