Captions is seeking a Technical Recruiter with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in New York City. As an AI-powered creative studio, we are on a mission to empower creators worldwide, and we need a skilled recruiter to help us build a strong team that reflects our values and ambitions. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle, from the initial contact to the acceptance of offers. You will develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify and engage elite technical talent, ensuring that we attract the best candidates in the industry. You will work closely with hiring managers and other stakeholders to understand their hiring needs and deliver talent with precision and accuracy. Your contributions will be vital in building an inclusive workplace by recruiting diverse talent and identifying opportunities to improve hiring velocity, operational efficiency, and candidate satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Guide candidates through the entire recruitment lifecycle, from inception of candidate contact through offer acceptance.
  • Develop and implement innovative sourcing strategies to identify, engage, and cultivate a strong pipeline of elite technical talent.
  • Partner closely with recruiting peers, hiring managers, and other stakeholders to understand hiring requirements and deliver talent with a high degree of precision and accuracy.
  • Contribute meaningfully to building an inclusive workplace by recruiting diverse talent.
  • Identify opportunities to improve hiring velocity, operational efficiency, recruiting productivity, and candidate satisfaction wherever possible.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience recruiting for software engineering positions across varying levels of seniority (individual contributors and leadership roles).
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging creative sourcing techniques and a personalized approach to courting passive, world-class talent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable effective partnership with individuals at all levels within an organization.
  • Track record of providing an authentic, meaningful, and high-touch experience to both candidates and hiring managers.
  • Entrepreneurial minded, inherently self-motivated, and a relentless work ethic with a track record of exceeding performance goals and recruiting KPIs.
