About the position

Softrim LLC is seeking a mid-level Technical Recruiter and HR Generalist to play a crucial role in the recruitment process and support various HR functions. This position involves sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, onboarding new hires, and managing employee relations, performance management, and compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical recruiting and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to create detailed job descriptions and specifications for technical positions within the company.
  • Utilize various sourcing techniques, including online job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals, to attract top talent.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, skills, and fit for the role.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and department heads, ensuring a smooth and efficient interview process.
  • Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
  • Manage the offer process, including extending job offers and negotiating salary and benefits packages.
  • Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding activities, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our applicant tracking system.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in technical recruiting, and continuously look for ways to improve our recruitment processes.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Support employee relations by addressing employee inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
  • Assist in training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems.
  • Coordinate employee engagement activities and programs to promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback to improve retention strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter in the IT or technology industry
  • Solid understanding of technical roles and requirements, including network engineering, cybersecurity, and IT support
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
