About the position

SoFi is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our dynamic team and support our Technology organization. In this role, you will be instrumental in sourcing, screening, and recruiting top-tier talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. As a recruiter at SoFi, you will collaborate closely with various product and business unit leaders to understand their hiring needs and help scale their teams effectively. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to SoFi's growth and shape the future of our teams as we navigate through an exciting phase of transformation in the financial services industry. Your responsibilities will include proactively recruiting and maintaining relationships with highly sought-after senior talent. You will identify candidates for internal and client openings through various methods such as cold calling, lead generation, internet recruiting, referral generation, and social networking. Managing candidates in the recruitment process is crucial, and you will ensure they receive a positive experience by reviewing resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating in-person interviews in a timely manner. As a thought partner to our leaders, you will help establish recruitment plans, define strategies, and deliver innovative solutions that refine our approach to recruiting technical talent. You will act as an advocate for both clients and candidates throughout the hiring process, establishing regular touchpoints and providing diligent follow-through to ensure a wonderful experience for all parties involved. Additionally, you will summarize candidates' key strengths, liabilities, and requirements, organize and facilitate interview debriefs, and work closely with Compensation, Talent Programs, and People Analytics teams to ensure every component of an effective search is taken into account.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders to deeply understand hiring needs
  • Proactively recruit and maintain relationships with highly sought after senior talent

  • Manage candidates in process and provide them with a positive experience (review resumes, conduct phone screens, coordinate in-person interviews, in a timely manner)
  • Be a thought partner with leaders to establish plans, define strategies, and deliver solutions that refine the way we recruit technical talent
  • Act as an advocate for both client and candidate throughout the hiring process; establishing regular touch points and providing diligent follow through resulting in a wonderful candidate and client experience

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical sourcing or recruiting experience required (in-house or within a technical agency)
  • Experience utilizing traditional and non-traditional recruiting methodologies
  • Full lifecycle candidate management including identification, interview preparation and closing, i.e. compensation negotiation
  • Ability to assess candidate's basic technical abilities; identify and match candidate's behavioral traits
  • Self-starter, motivated, and detailed/results-oriented
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player
  • Ability to connect and effectively communicate with people of all levels
