About the position

The Technical Recruiter will play a crucial role in sourcing and recruiting technical talent to support KFC's expanding digital strategy. This position is a contract role lasting approximately 4-6 months, based in Louisville, KY, with the flexibility of remote work available after the onboarding process. The recruiter will focus on developing, pipelining, and sourcing candidates for key areas such as Data Analytics, Consumer Technology, DevOps, and User Experience (UX). The role requires a proactive approach to identify and attract niche candidates from limited talent pools, necessitating a strategic mindset and innovative recruiting techniques. In this position, the recruiter will own the strategy for recruiting technical candidates, which includes driving a comprehensive business plan, conducting competitive research, and utilizing networking and direct sourcing methods. The recruiter will serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the entire recruiting cycle, ensuring a positive candidate experience. This involves maintaining constant communication with candidates to keep them informed about their application status and providing feedback throughout the process. Additionally, the recruiter will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that resonate with potential candidates, helping to reshape the recruitment approach to attract top talent. The role also involves screening candidates based on specific job requirements and responsibilities, ensuring that only the most qualified individuals are presented to hiring managers. The recruiter will need to demonstrate strong problem-solving capabilities and strategic thinking to effectively manage multiple requisitions and report weekly progress to coaches and hiring managers.
