About the position

As a Technical Recruiter at Scale AI, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our teams by driving the full-lifecycle recruitment process. Your primary responsibility will be to build a deep understanding of our business and culture, which will enable you to provide strategic thought partnership to the teams you support. You will lead the recruitment process from the initial outreach to the final offer, ensuring a seamless experience for both candidates and hiring teams. In this role, you will develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional partners, to ensure success in your recruitment efforts. You will leverage recruiting metrics to inform your activity needs, interpreting and presenting this data to hiring managers to guide decision-making. Collaborating closely with hiring teams across both business and technical domains, you will define job descriptions, requirements, and interview processes that align with our organizational goals. Your ability to foster trust-based relationships with candidates will be crucial, as you will gain a close understanding of their requirements and concerns. You will serve as a skilled problem solver and facilitator during final negotiations, ensuring that both the candidate's and the company's needs are met. Additionally, you will play a key role in promoting inclusivity and diversity within our teams as we continue to grow. Educating hiring teams on interviewing best practices will also be part of your responsibilities, as will taking full ownership of sourcing passive leads for your pipelines as needed. This position requires you to work from the San Francisco office three times a week, allowing for collaboration and engagement with your team and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key stakeholders, including cross-functional partners, to ensure recruitment success.
  • Leverage recruiting metrics to inform activity needs and present findings to hiring managers.
  • Work closely with hiring teams to define job descriptions, requirements, and interview processes.
  • Collaborate with recruiting coordinators, recruiters, and hiring partners to create a transparent interview experience.
  • Foster trust-based relationships with candidates to understand their requirements and concerns.
  • Serve as a skilled problem solver, facilitator, and coach during final negotiations.
  • Help ensure the building of inclusive and diverse teams as the company grows.
  • Influence and educate hiring teams on interviewing best practices.
  • Take full ownership of sourcing passive leads for recruitment pipelines.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full lifecycle technical recruiting experience at high growth tech start-ups.
  • Ability to use data, both quantitative and qualitative, to influence hiring managers and leaders.
  • Ability to distill complex information into a consumable and organized format with a focus on content, tone, and structure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation tactics and market knowledge.
  • Experience managing complex technical roles.
  • Effective organization and stakeholder management of Engineering Managers+.
  • Located in the Bay Area, able to commute 3x per week to the San Francisco office.
