About the position

The Contract Technical Recruiter at Capella Space will lead the full cycle recruitment process, focusing on sourcing, assessing, and closing candidates for various roles including Intern, Engineering, and Business positions. This role requires collaboration with business leaders and hiring managers to meet the hiring needs of the organization while ensuring a positive candidate experience. The recruiter will utilize creative sourcing strategies and maintain strong talent pipelines to support the company's mission in synthetic aperture radar technology and signal intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full cycle recruitment process from kick-off to closing.
  • Partner proactively with business leaders and hiring managers to support hiring needs.
  • Demonstrate creative sourcing strategies and ensure an outstanding candidate experience.
  • Identify roadblocks in the hiring process and provide proactive solutions.
  • Cultivate and maintain networks to identify key talent and create strong talent pipelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Capella's recruiting efforts.
  • Drive and facilitate the offer process, including negotiations and managing acceptances.
  • Ensure accuracy of candidate workflow data in Greenhouse.
  • Communicate proactively and professionally with candidates and hiring teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a mix of agency and in-house recruiting, with at least 3 years focused on technology recruiting.
  • Experience with technical engineering recruiting across software, hardware, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Expertise in all aspects of recruiting including sourcing, networking, screening, and offer negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new technologies.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to establish credibility within the organization.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • BS/BA degree preferred.
