About the position

The Technical Recruiter/HR Specialist at PE Systems, Inc. is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting to support the Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) contract at Hanscom AFB, MA. This role involves sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for various technical positions, as well as assisting in HR-related functions such as onboarding and employee relations. The position requires collaboration with the recruiting team and hiring managers to ensure a seamless candidate experience and effective recruitment strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for full life-cycle recruiting for positions such as Engineering, Acquisition, Program/Project Managers, Logistics, Cyber Security, etc.
  • Source, screen, and interview candidates for technical and other roles specific to the new contract.
  • Develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent for specialized roles requiring security clearances.
  • Manage candidate pipelines and ensure a seamless candidate experience.
  • Create position requisitions in coordination with hiring managers in accordance with company policies, procedures, and Federal and State regulations.
  • Participate in regularly scheduled recruiting/staffing meetings to discuss planned staffing actions and recruiting activity updates for all open positions.
  • Maintain hands-on knowledge and expertise to navigate through current Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other job posting websites/recruiting technologies.
  • Support onboarding, including facilitating new hire orientation and helping with security clearance procedures.
  • Assist with employee relations, benefits inquiries, and other HR functions as directed.
  • Coordinate with the HR generalist on onboarding and employee engagement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent years of related experience) with 5 to 7 years of experience as a recruiter in the DoD government contracting industry.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications and standard applicant tracking systems (currently ADP Workforce Now).
  • Highly motivated with excellent organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Knowledge of existing and emerging recruiting technologies including job board platforms and practices (LinkedIn Sponsored Jobs, Monster, Indeed, etc.).
  • Proficient in Active and Passive recruitment strategies and activities to maintain a candidate pipeline relevant to the Company's staffing needs.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred to possess AIRS-CIR, SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP, or SHRM-CP certifications.
