About the position

The Technical Recruiter plays a crucial role in supporting technical recruitment across all Business Units within the Reyes Family of Businesses. This position involves working closely with various business and Human Resource leaders to develop and implement effective recruitment strategies aimed at filling open positions. The Technical Recruiter is responsible for managing the entire recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to making hiring decisions, while also overseeing external vendor management contracts. This role requires a proactive and data-driven approach to recruitment, ensuring that all stakeholders and candidates have a positive experience throughout the process. In this position, the recruiter will manage the sourcing, screening, and recruitment of IT, Security, and Data Engineering professionals across all business units to meet current and future staffing needs. The recruiter will collaborate with hiring managers and HR to gain a clear understanding of position requirements and ensure alignment with the recruitment process. Assessing candidates' technical skills is essential to determine their suitability for specific roles, and the recruiter will utilize data-informed decision-making throughout the recruitment lifecycle. The Technical Recruiter will also need to employ creative problem-solving skills to address challenges such as sourcing hurdles or candidate objections. Staying informed about industry trends and emerging Talent Acquisition strategies is vital for success in this role. The recruiter will foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function, refining processes and identifying opportunities to enhance the recruitment lifecycle. Upholding ethical standards and integrity in recruitment activities is paramount, as is supporting other projects or duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the sourcing, screening, and recruitment of IT, Security, and Data Engineering professionals across all Business Units.
  • Employ a proactive, data-driven approach to recruitment, ensuring attention to detail and delivering positive experiences for stakeholders and candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to ensure a clear understanding of position requirements and alignment with the recruitment process.
  • Assess candidates' technical skills to determine suitability for specific roles and drive data-informed decisions throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilize creative problem-solving skills to tackle challenges such as sourcing hurdles or candidate objections.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends by actively researching emerging Talent Acquisition strategies and best practices.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Talent Acquisition function, refining processes and identifying opportunities to enhance the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Uphold ethical standards and integrity within the nuanced recruitment activities across all Reyes Family of Businesses.
  • Support other projects or duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of full cycle recruitment experience in IT (e.g. Security and Data Engineering) or High School Diploma with 8+ years of above listed experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Excellent technical skills; in-depth knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), and general Microsoft applications; familiarity with best practices in social networking; ability to leverage technology to attract candidates, and drive effective and efficient operations.
  • Strong relationship management and influential skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to prioritize multiple tasks and/or projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong customer-service orientation, and desire to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Nice-to-haves

  • PHR, SHRM, or HR/TA related Certification
