About the position

The Technical Recruiter will be responsible for coordinating recruiting efforts to obtain qualified team members for various technical positions, particularly focusing on infrastructure structured cabling technicians for global retail rollouts and data center new builds. This role involves interviewing, scheduling, and managing the recruitment process from job postings to candidate offers, ensuring compliance with employment laws and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates recruiting efforts to obtain qualified team members, including interviewing and scheduling arrangements with management.
• Discusses requirements for various job vacancies with appropriate management.
• Interviews, screens, and tests applicants as applicable.
• Prepares internal postings and external advertisements with hiring managers and advertising agencies.
• Arranges for appropriate posting of job openings and schedules interviews for internal candidates.
• Verifies employment history, educational background, and checks references of job applicants.
• Responds to applications and inquiries for employment in a timely manner.
• Coordinates and arranges travel and lodging for recruitment purposes.
• Prepares acceptance letters for selected candidates and extends job offers.
• Keeps the Applicant Tracking System and Job Information Line up-to-date.
• Conducts exit interviews with departing team members.
• Coordinates external placement agency contacts and candidate referrals.
• Ensures compliance with Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action rules and regulations.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of high volume recruiting experience for technicians, specifically in infrastructure structured cabling for global retail rollouts and data center builds.
• Proficient in intake calls, sourcing, interviewing, and salary negotiation.
• Experience in preparing job postings.
