About the position

The HR Recruiter/Generalist at Tague Lumber is a vital role within the HR team, responsible for attracting top talent and supporting various HR functions to enhance employee engagement and development. This position involves managing the full-cycle recruiting process, onboarding new hires, and maintaining employee relations, all while ensuring compliance with HR best practices and employment law.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
  • Conduct orientation sessions and ensure all required documentation is completed.
  • Support ongoing employee development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in HR recruitment and generalist functions.
  • Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems.
