About the position

Nexagen Networks is seeking an experienced Technical Recruiter to join their talent acquisition team. The role focuses on recruiting candidates in technical domains such as Cloud technologies, DevSecOps, Software Development, and Artificial Intelligence (AI). The Technical Recruiter will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, leveraging their technical expertise to identify and assess candidates, while also promoting diversity hiring initiatives and ensuring a positive candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening candidates to facilitating interviews, offer negotiations, and onboarding.
  • Use understanding of Cloud, DevSecOps, Software Development, and AI to identify and assess candidates with the required technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Develop innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive candidates using platforms such as LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, and specialized job boards.
  • Proactively build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs, technical requirements, and team dynamics to align candidates accordingly.
  • Stay updated on trends in Cloud, DevSecOps, Software Development, and AI technologies to better understand the competitive landscape and advise on recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct initial screening calls, technical assessments, and behavioral interviews to shortlist high-potential candidates.
  • Promote and implement diversity hiring initiatives to ensure a diverse pool of candidates in all recruitment efforts.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by providing timely feedback, clear communication, and maintaining a professional yet approachable demeanor.
  • Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-hire, offer acceptance rate, and quality of hire.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of technical recruiting experience, particularly in Cloud, DevSecOps, Software Development, or AI.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevSecOps methodologies, AI/ML frameworks, and modern software development practices (e.g., Agile, CI/CD).
  • Demonstrated success in sourcing and placing technical talent through various channels (e.g., social media, job boards, direct outreach).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with both candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter and candidate management platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to anticipate and resolve candidate and hiring manager challenges.
