About the position

As a Technical Recruiter at Spectra Logic, you will be instrumental in shaping the hiring strategy by sourcing, interviewing, and ensuring a positive hiring experience for candidates and internal teams. This role involves close collaboration with leadership and hiring managers to understand staffing needs and find the best fit for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality technical candidates and a diverse candidate pool.
  • Source candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
  • Conduct thorough interviews, assessing both technical skills and cultural fit.
  • Establish strong relationships with hiring managers, proactively understanding their needs and building trust by presenting qualified candidates who meet both skill and cultural standards.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process independently, from initial outreach to offer negotiation and onboarding, ensuring timely communication and a positive experience for candidates and hiring managers alike.
  • Cultivate a network and pipeline of skilled professionals who align with our company values.
  • Hold yourself accountable for metrics like time-to-fill and quality-of-hire, consistently striving to improve these KPIs as well as recruiting processes, documenting changes as appropriate.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent experience that demonstrates strong learning agility and adaptability.
  • At least 4 years of in-house technical recruiting experience.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles and technologies, with the ability to engage effectively with candidates.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to foster relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and team members to build trust and rapport.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and understand new technologies quickly.
  • Proven track record of successfully filling technical positions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assess not just technical skills, but also alignment with our company culture, finding candidates who are likely to thrive within our organization.
  • Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
