About the position

As a Technical Recruiter at PayPal, you will be part of a dynamic and diverse Talent Acquisition team responsible for sourcing and recruiting highly skilled talent for engineering and developer roles. Your role will involve managing the entire recruitment process, from candidate sourcing to onboarding, while ensuring a positive candidate experience and aligning with business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own external candidate sourcing processes from research to identifying and attracting candidates using all appropriate methods.
  • Proactively liaise and collaborate with the recruitment team and business partners to understand candidate requirements, profiles, and timelines.
  • Perform 20-30 Recruiter Screens per week and fill 10 to 15 roles per quarter.
  • Use internal systems and processes to track activities, progress, interviewing, and onboarding activities to ensure business needs and recruitment timelines are met.
  • Partner, guide, and challenge Hiring Managers on Talent Acquisition best practices, approaches, and techniques.
  • Provide insights and educate on candidate markets and pipelines to identify talent.
  • Be agile and willing to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the business.
  • Effectively utilize PayPal's ATS and CRM systems to automate the recruitment process across the business.
  • Build effective pipelines of external talent to meet current and future business demands.
  • Focus on providing a fantastic candidate experience and act as an ambassador to the PayPal brand.
  • Prepare, present, negotiate, and close competitive job offers, partnering with hiring managers, HRBPs, and Rewards when appropriate.
  • Manage and actively participate in Talent Acquisition-related projects of varying complexity, importance, and priority.
  • Monitor metrics related to recruitment work, including time-to-fill, pass-through rates, and time-to-hire.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience working in roles such as a Talent Acquisition Partner, Agency Recruiter, or Talent Sourcer within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong sourcing skills and previous experience in building pipelines.
  • Deep sourcing, interview, assessment, and selection experience of engineers and engineering managers.
  • Ability to simplify complex tasks, manage multiple priorities, and follow various documentation or instructions.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new knowledge related to Talent Acquisition systems and processes.
