As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a crucial role in identifying hiring needs and filling job openings. Your responsibilities will include identifying future hiring needs, designing job descriptions, sourcing candidates through databases and social media, conducting interviews, filing paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation. You will also monitor new and existing employees and act as their advocate. This role requires collaboration with department managers to compile a consistent list of requirements and to attract suitable candidates through various channels. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting interviews and sorting through applicants to fill open positions, assessing applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions, and completing paperwork for new hires. You will also promote the company's reputation and attractiveness as a good employment opportunity, manage internship programs, and keep up-to-date on current employment legislation and regulations, enforcing them within the company. Additionally, you will provide recruitment reports to team managers and assist with the HUBZone program, acting as a point of contact for HUBZone employees and ensuring compliance with HUBZone requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Providing recruitment reports to team managers.
  • Assisting with the HUBZone program and being a point of contact for HUBZone employees.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources.
  • Experience with recruitment processes and databases.
  • The ability to conduct different types of interviews.
  • The ability to design and implement recruiting strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Good decision-making skills.
  • A working knowledge of employment law and legislation.

Nice-to-haves

  • HRM Certificate (Preferred)
  • Experience in Technical Recruiting: 2 years (Required)
