About the position

The Technical Recruiter is responsible for delivering high-quality recruitment services to business operations leaders and associates. This role involves full lifecycle recruiting, maintaining relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and suppliers, and leading staffing projects to enhance recruitment processes. The recruiter will creatively source candidates, manage communications, and mentor junior recruiters while focusing on attracting a diverse candidate pool.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal clients to assist them with all recruitment needs including sourcing strategy, developing job descriptions, and candidate negotiations.
  • Manage the entire life cycle of the recruiting process with minimal managerial guidance.
  • Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position.
  • Consult with internal clients on recruitment issues, interviewing techniques, hiring decisions, and market data.
  • Build a pipeline of talented job seekers that fit the profile of the company's core competencies.
  • Creatively source and network candidates to reduce fees to outside agencies.
  • Build and execute a recruiting plan that focuses on attracting a diverse candidate pool.
  • Manage the efforts of recruiting process outsourcing, contingency, and retained search firms; set expectations, negotiate SOWs, and communicate progress to the internal client.
  • Manage and coordinate communications with candidates.
  • Maintain all progress and status reports, communicating this to the Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Participate in project work as required and seek continuous improvements to enhance the capabilities of the staffing team.
  • Mentor and coach more junior recruiters as needed during onboarding and in honing their capabilities.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of In-House Talent Acquisition Department experience required.
  • Previous 3rd party recruiting experience desired.
  • Experience recruiting technology, engineering, and software development employees required.
  • Expert level knowledge of LinkedIn Recruiter and social media sourcing techniques.
  • Experience in networking with, and attracting, and sourcing a diverse candidate pool.
  • BA/BS preferred.
