About the position

The Technical Recruiter role at altafiber involves recruiting both active and passive candidates for technical positions. The recruiter will be responsible for reviewing resumes, conducting phone screenings, and facilitating face-to-face meetings with candidates and clients. Establishing long-term relationships with consultants is a key aspect of this position, along with a thorough understanding of recruiting practices and the ability to think creatively.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with management to assess staffing needs
  • Identify, interview, and facilitate the hiring of salaried, full-time, W-2, and Corp to Corp technical staff
  • Create, maintain, and update candidate database records
  • Prep and coordinate consultant-client interviews
  • Coordinate technical tests and verify consultant references
  • Generate client leads and consultant referrals
  • Manage and post all open positions, using Bullhorn
  • Coordinate interviews, prepare resume profiles, and assist with on-boarding activities

Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in HR and/or Recruiting
  • Outstanding and effective telephone skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple projects, and rapidly changing priorities
  • Strong written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Strong and creative problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

Nice-to-haves

  • Any hands-on technical IT experience is a bonus
