About the position

Delta Technical Solutions (DTS) is seeking a Technical Recruiter/Sourcer to join our team in Rolling Meadows, IL. This full-time position is integral to our mission of delivering high-quality candidates while promoting the DTS brand across various markets and professional communities. The Technical Recruiter will guide candidates through the DTS selection process, which includes sourcing and completing the technical recruiting lifecycle. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for mining, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates. You will set up interviews for hiring managers, conduct reference checks, and extend job offers. A core focus of this role is the growth and maintenance of a pipeline of qualified candidates through constant networking and the creation of effective sourcing strategies that attract the best talent. You will provide sourcing or full lifecycle recruiting for contract, contract-to-direct, and direct hire staffing services. In addition, you will develop and maintain strong working relationships with business community organizations and networking groups to source top engineering talent. Optimizing online recruiting resources and our in-house database will be essential to identify and recruit the very best candidates. You will manage and coordinate all communication with candidates, assist in the presentation, offer, negotiation, and closing for engineering candidates, and maintain accurate and timely documentation for all candidates and clients. Understanding related engineering skills and educational requirements will be crucial in determining the qualities and attributes of a successful candidate for specific requirements. Furthermore, you will effectively manage the contract engineering workforce to ensure successful employee performance and retention.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of organizational staff.
  • Computer expertise, including use of MS Office.
  • Flexibility and innovation in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-sensitive environment.
  • Knowledgeable in candidate sourcing, qualifying, networking, and relationship management.
  • Ability to identify new recruiting concepts and opportunities.

Nice-to-haves
