About the position

The Technical Recruiter is a result-oriented and self-motivated individual responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and screening professional applicants for a variety of skill sets related to both technical and non-technical jobs. This role requires close collaboration with the Account Management and Relationship Management teams to identify and present qualified candidates for a multitude of clients and industries. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a clear ability to communicate and negotiate with a wide variety of business professionals, ensuring a seamless recruitment process. In this position, the recruiter will utilize various resources, including the company database, internet resources, and networking, to establish a pool of highly skilled technical candidates. They will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the recruiting life cycle, from sourcing candidates to post-placement follow-up. The recruiter will be expected to identify and engage candidates using creative and innovative sourcing methods, implementing learned recruiting skills to screen and interview potential candidates effectively. A strong focus on providing a superior experience for both candidates and clients throughout the interview and hiring process is essential. The recruiter will also attend networking events to engage potential talent, sharpen their recruiting acumen, and promote the company's standard of industry-wide service and excellence. Additionally, the recruiter will proactively contribute input and feedback to drive success and refine best practices while regularly engaging with peers to foster a cooperative and competitive workplace.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize the company database, internet resources, networking and other recruiting resources to establish a pool of highly skilled technical candidates.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the recruiting life cycle, from sourcing to post-placement follow up.
  • Identify and engage candidates by utilizing creative and innovative sourcing methods.
  • Implement learned recruiting skills to screen and interview potential candidates.
  • Focus relentlessly on providing a superior experience for both candidates and clients throughout the interview and hiring process.
  • Attend networking events in order to engage potential talent, sharpen recruiting acumen, and promote our standard of industry-wide service and excellence.
  • Proactively contribute input and feedback in order to drive success and refine best practices.
  • Regularly engage with peers to foster a cooperative and competitive workplace.

Requirements

  • Disposition to sales, or a keen interest in understanding the sales and recruiting process
  • Background in staffing and/or sales preferred
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities and negotiating skills
  • Strategic thinker with an ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience with Bullhorn or a comparable applicant tracking system
  • Experience with Vendor Management Systems (VMS) a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
