About the position

The Technical Recruiter at Fora will be responsible for scaling the team by identifying, attracting, and hiring top technical talent. This role involves managing the full recruitment life cycle for various technical positions across engineering, product, and design, while collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. The position requires a strategic mindset, a deep understanding of the technical landscape, and strong interpersonal skills to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Craft and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract high-quality technical candidates.
  • Collaborate with leadership and hiring managers to anticipate hiring needs and define role requirements for technical positions.
  • Utilize various channels to build a strong pipeline of technical talent.
  • Represent Fora at industry events, career fairs, and online forums to promote the employer brand.
  • Proactively identify and engage with passive candidates to fill current and future technical roles.
  • Manage relationships with agency recruiters to ensure an excellent candidate experience.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and provide insights on market trends.
  • Conduct initial resume and phone screenings, coordinate technical assessments, and facilitate interviews.
  • Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates through clear communication.
  • Achieve key recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on recruitment activities to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in technical recruitment, ideally with both agency and in-house roles.
  • Strong understanding of technical roles including web engineering, backend engineering, data science, product management, and IT infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to influence and build relationships at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments about candidates in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics to inform recruitment strategies and decisions.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.
