About the position

As a Technical Recruiter at Benchmark IT, you will play a crucial role in our continued growth and success. We are looking for individuals who are either experienced IT recruiters with a proven track record in agency settings or junior recruiters or IT graduates who are eager to learn and grow in the recruiting field. This position is based in our office located in downtown Stamford, CT, where you will be part of a dynamic team that has established strong relationships with a growing number of top-tier direct clients. These clients often engage with us on an exclusive or semi-exclusive basis, allowing us to present quality candidates for immediate placement in both contract and full-time IT roles. Your primary responsibilities will involve utilizing cutting-edge sourcing tools and techniques to identify and engage potential candidates. Building effective relationships with candidates is essential, as you will be representing them throughout the hiring process. You will often collaborate directly with clients or work alongside our Account Executives to ensure a smooth and efficient hiring process. This role requires a significant amount of communication via phone and email, so strong interpersonal skills and a knack for follow-up are critical. Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an IT recruiter in an agency setting or a strong desire to learn and grow in the recruiting field.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on building relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple candidates and clients simultaneously.
  • A natural knack for following up and assisting candidates in their career journeys.
