About the position

BMA is looking for a highly driven and energized Technical Recruiter to join our team in Huntsville, AL. This position will play a significant role in identifying and engaging top talent in a creative way, improving, and contributing to our employer brand, and scaling our recruiting practice as we continue to grow. The Technical Recruiter will utilize a full-cycle recruiting process for candidates, ensuring a smooth and positive candidate experience. This includes implementing and executing hiring strategies for multiple requisitions, sourcing and building a strong network of candidates through expert use of online sourcing techniques, networking, referrals, and more. The recruiter will maintain and utilize data reports and performance metrics on a regular basis, driving the offer process which includes extending offers, negotiations, and closing candidates. In addition, the Technical Recruiter will parse specialized skills and qualifications to screen resumes and perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities. Coordination with managers to forecast recruiting goals and hiring needs is essential, as is the development and facilitation of interview and best-practices training for colleagues. The recruiter will keep up to date on recruiting and emerging workforce trends, promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-hire, and ensure we attract top talent. Identifying associations and organizations for diversity recruitment to create and maintain a diverse talent pool is also a key responsibility. The role requires a creative and results-driven approach to recruiting, developing, and improving sourcing strategies for both active and passive candidates.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 5+ years proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter.
  • 3+ years experience recruiting high level IT requisitions (Cyber, Software, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles.
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to multi-task.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to have consistent and positive impact and contribution in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques.
  • Interpersonally savvy; excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor legislation.
  • Bachelor's in Human Resources Management, technical or relevant degree.
  • A sense of urgency and a relentless drive to find and connect with the best talent.
  • Must have an active LinkedIn profile.
  • Prior experience sourcing for technical roles in the cleared space, preferably in the Federal/Government Contracting environment.
