About the position

The Technical Recruiter at Mesa Natural Gas Solutions LLC is responsible for attracting, evaluating, and referring candidates for technical positions within the company. This role involves utilizing various sourcing methods, including recruiting websites and employee referrals, to identify qualified applicants. The recruiter will develop job advertisements, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring that positions are filled efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Act as an internal headhunter for Mesa Natural Gas Solutions.
• Locate qualified applicants through active recruiting using databases, online job boards, LinkedIn, and networking.
• Communicate with potential applicants via phone, email, or in person.
• Create job announcements listing requirements such as work experience, education, and job skills.
• Screen resumes and interview candidates for various positions.
• Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to assess candidate qualifications.
• Investigate referrals, references, and social media sources to evaluate applicants.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations for job fairs and networking events.
• Prepare and communicate offer letters to selected applicants.
• Coordinate with outside recruiting agencies as necessary.
• Run initial background checks on potential hires before interviews.
• Conduct on-site employee retention initiatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year university.
• At least 2 years of recruiting and talent management experience.
• Significant headhunting recruiting experience.

Nice-to-haves

• 3+ years of human resource/recruiting experience.
• Honorably discharged service veterans preferred.
