About the position

The Technical Recruiter at Ford Motor Company plays a crucial role in the Human Resources team by managing the talent acquisition process. This position is responsible for resolving recruitment issues, implementing strategies for candidate sourcing, screening, and selection, and ensuring compliance with company policies. The recruiter will also maintain accurate records and data related to talent acquisition while staying updated on industry trends. This role is essential for attracting and retaining top talent to support Ford's vision and culture.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate internal and external job postings, utilizing social and professional networking sites to identify and source candidates.
  • Utilize recruitment software and applicant tracking systems (ATS) to create and manage job postings, ensuring accurate and compelling position descriptions.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and workflows pertinent to the Talent Acquisition function within the HCM system, ensuring data accuracy and adherence to best practices.
  • Leverage ATS to manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interview scheduling and coordination, offer management, and onboarding.
  • Design interview questions based on position and conduct initial candidate screening interviews to assess behavioral fit, interest levels, salary requirements, etc.
  • Ensure adherence to established practices, procedures, processes, and timelines to effectively support talent acquisition programs.
  • Participate in the delivery of special projects within the talent acquisition function by serving as the primary contact and collaborating with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Conduct job requisition intakes and formulate effective responses for all recruitment queries from hiring managers.
  • Implement company policies, protocols, and procedures across talent planning, candidate sourcing, screening, and selection, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Implement internal training programs on talent acquisition best practices, interview techniques, and recruitment strategies.
  • Analyze data and metrics across the recruitment cycle, generating reports and providing insights to optimize recruitment strategies and processes.
  • Track key metrics such as time-to-fill, source efficiency, and offer acceptance rates to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential data and records related to talent acquisition.
  • Collaborate with senior internal and external stakeholders to meet recruitment goals and align talent acquisition strategies with business requirements.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on talent acquisition matters.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in technical recruiting with a Master's degree or 5 years with a Bachelor's degree.
  • In-depth knowledge of talent acquisition best practices, including candidate sourcing, assessment, and relevant laws and regulations.
