Carter's Inc. is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team, responsible for providing strategic talent acquisition support to identify, interview, and recommend qualified technical candidates to meet the needs of the business. This role serves as a consultative partner to the HR and Hiring Manager teams, creating and implementing function-specific talent acquisition strategies to identify both internal and external talent for Carter's. The Technical Recruiter will report to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Corporate Recruiting and will be based in our Buckhead office, working on-site four days a week with occasional travel to university campuses as part of our college recruiting program. In this role, the Technical Recruiter will spend approximately 80% of their time on recruiting activities. This includes providing consultative and strategic recruiting services such as market research, competitive intelligence, sourcing, candidate assessment, client advice, and candidate development. The recruiter will manage internal client and candidate relationships to ensure a best-in-class candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the interviewing and hiring process, while also meeting talent acquisition goals. The full recruiting process will be led by the recruiter, which involves partnering with HR and Hiring Managers to define required qualifications, finalize job descriptions, schedule kickoff meetings, identify and screen talent, and manage candidates through the interview process to offer. The Technical Recruiter will independently manage the recruiting search and selection process for a wide range of roles, including professional, technical, early career, and other niche skill positions, with minimal supervision. They will be responsible for identifying, interviewing, and recommending candidates to the Hiring Manager to fill specific open needs. Additionally, the recruiter will support Carter's diversity initiatives by developing and executing recruiting strategies to create diverse candidate pools for all positions. This includes identifying and leveraging external networks, professional organizations, available tools or resources, and market demographics to pipeline a broad range of diverse external talent. The role also involves maintaining communication with all related business partners to perform all related Talent Acquisition functions, ensuring staffing effectiveness and efficiency. The Technical Recruiter will efficiently meet and exceed recruiting KPIs/metrics, including time to fill, time to offer, and hiring manager/candidate satisfaction. Compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as company policies, is essential, and the recruiter will ensure all TA activities are compliant with established sourcing, recruiting, and selection procedures, including maintaining appropriate recordkeeping. In addition to recruiting, the Technical Recruiter will spend 15% of their time on talent acquisition projects and initiatives, working on the creation and facilitation of new recruitment initiatives and completing special projects as assigned. They will also provide immigration support by partnering with outside counsel to manage all immigration requests for internal Carter's employees.
