About the position

SparkCognition, Inc. is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Austin Talent Acquisition team. This role is pivotal in driving the full life cycle of recruiting across various lines of business, including Engineering, DevOps, and FrontEnd. As a Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for exploring diverse avenues to discover and engage with potential candidates. This includes utilizing online job boards, social media platforms, networking opportunities, and referrals to attract top talent. You will review resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and suitability for roles, ensuring that only the best candidates move forward in the hiring process. In addition to sourcing and screening candidates, you will assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews with hiring managers. Your role will involve providing guidance and assistance to both candidates and interviewers throughout the interview process, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all parties involved. You will also conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates, collaborating closely with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs and assist in developing effective sourcing and hiring strategies. Managing candidate pipelines and our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) will be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that candidate information is accurate and up-to-date. You will assist in extending job offers and contribute to negotiations on compensation packages with selected candidates. Building and maintaining relationships with candidates is essential, as you will ensure they are kept informed and engaged throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, you will provide regular updates and reports on recruitment metrics and progress to stakeholders, helping to drive the recruitment strategy forward.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Familiarity with recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS-Greenhouse) and other recruitment software.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • 5-6 years experience in recruitment, sourcing and interview scheduling.
