At Vaco, we are looking for a Technology Recruiter who will play a pivotal role in our dynamic and empowered culture. This position is designed for a professional networker and relationship builder who has a keen interest in the evolving trends within the IT sector. The Technology Recruiter will be responsible for establishing and nurturing relationships with both active and passive job seekers, as well as collaborating with Business Development Managers to fulfill exciting project and direct-hire positions across various domains of information technology. These domains range from Help Desk Support and Application Development to Network Engineering, and even high-level positions such as CIOs and CTOs. In this role, the Technology Recruiter will identify, interview, and evaluate candidates for client opportunities, ensuring that the right talent is matched with the right positions. The recruiter will foster long-term relationships within the IT community, regularly attending local user groups and networking events to stay connected and informed. A critical part of the job will involve reviewing and understanding technical job requirements and the necessary technical skills, as well as reformatting and presenting resumes to meet client expectations. The Technology Recruiter will also develop strategies to qualify candidates through various tools and networks, negotiate pay rates with consultants based on position requirements, and meet with candidates through in-person, telephone, or video conference to assess their qualifications. Collaboration with the sales team will be essential to drive the delivery strategy for consultants and candidates, and the recruiter will actively market in-demand skill sets to the sales team.
