About the position

We are seeking a Technical Resource Manager / Recruiter to play a pivotal role in expanding our IT teams. This position involves developing and nurturing relationships with IT professionals, ensuring that their skills are effectively matched with our ongoing projects at client sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. Your ability to evaluate talent and resourcefulness in recruiting will be crucial to the success of our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a supportive team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential, and previous sales experience is a significant advantage. In this role, you will be instrumental in building a robust tech talent pipeline, aiding in the hiring and retention of skilled employees for our clients. You will also focus on reducing our time-to-hire and ensuring that we attract the best IT professionals in the industry. Your responsibilities will include writing and posting technical job descriptions, sourcing potential candidates on niche platforms such as Dice, GitHub, and LinkedIn, and performing pre-screening calls to assess applicants' abilities. You will conduct interviews using various methods, including structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions. Additionally, you will craft and send personalized recruiting emails to passive candidates, participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals, extend job offer letters, onboard new hires, and conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements. Staying updated with new technological trends and products will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Write and post technical job descriptions.
  • Source potential candidates on niche platforms, such as Dice, GitHub, and LinkedIn.
  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants' abilities.
  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions).
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates.
  • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals.
  • Extend job offer letters.
  • Onboard new hires.
  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements.
  • Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products.

Requirements

  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter or Recruiter.
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., in-person, Zoom, Teams, etc.).
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.
  • Negotiation capabilities.
  • Critical thinking and flexibility when faced with changing priorities.
  • Proven work experience with the tools and technologies that will be assessed.
  • Experience with multiple sourcing techniques (e.g. social media, internal recruiting, referrals, etc.).
  • Ability to maintain a database and pipeline of candidates.
  • Ability to create a seamless candidate experience through all stages of the hiring process.
  • Willingness to represent the company and to become an ambassador for AZAD during a candidate's first interactions with the organization.
