About the position

The Technical Sales Account Manager at Nachi Robotics Systems is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and partners in the robotics and automation industry. This role involves selling robotic systems and related products, creating sales plans, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support. The Account Manager will also attend trade shows and contribute to marketing strategies, making it a dynamic position focused on growth and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between Nachi Robotic Systems, partners, and customers.
• Sell robots, robotic systems, and related products in the western US.
• Develop sales plans to meet sales objectives.
• Create new direct sales accounts and expand business within established accounts.
• Obtain customer specifications and coordinate with proposal and engineering teams to generate quotes.
• Secure purchase orders and monitor project status.
• Provide ongoing support and monitor customer needs.
• Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and product quality for continuous improvement.
• Assist in the development of marketing and advertising strategies.
• Help collect overdue accounts receivable.
• Attend robotics trade shows to interact with potential customers.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in robotics or automation.
• 2 years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Understanding of engineering principles related to automation, typically associated with a 2-year college degree.
