About the position

HGH Infrared Systems is an international leader in electro-optics and infrared technology. With over 40 years of experience, HGH designs, develops, and sells optronic systems for industrial, civil, defense, and security applications. The company is known for its innovative products, including the award-winning SPYNEL, a real-time panoramic infrared camera with unlimited intrusion detection capability. The Sales and BD Manager will be responsible for managing sales activities mainly linked to the SPYNEL panoramic Infrared cameras, developing and implementing business development strategies, and building and maintaining client relationships. The role will also involve identifying new business opportunities and negotiating contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow the Energy sector for security and surveillance applications related to critical infrastructure protection.
  • Primary focus will be Oil & Gas/Power Facilities, with Nuclear, Wind and Dams as additional customers.
  • Potential expansion to other sectors based on market conditions and opportunities.
  • Leverage your connections to identify key stakeholders and decision makers within your target market.
  • Identify and develop relationships with System Integration companies supporting this sector.
  • Collaborate and work closely with HGH sales and technical personnel in other locations supporting multi-country / region programs.
  • Plan, coordinate and if needed execute product Demonstrations and Factory Acceptance Tests in combination with Customer Service Engineers (CSE).
  • Become proficient in the technical application of the SPYNEL thermal imaging systems for the purpose of detecting, tracking and identifying potential threats or safety issues.
  • Provide direct feedback to internal stakeholders (such as Product teams) to help with the formulation of product and long-term needs.
  • Support the development of unique selling propositions and deliver differentiated services.
  • Apply strategic thinking to tailor and execute revenue retention and growth strategies for your assigned customer base.
  • Use CRM system for systematically maintaining and building an active and accurate pipeline.

Requirements

  • Proven experience, at least four years in sales and business development.
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Excellent market research and analysis abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics or technical field (preferred).
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, preferably with security / surveillance sensor solutions.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and the ability to deliver impactful, targeted presentations.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 40%, minimal international travel.
