About the position
The Technical Sales Consultant - Digital Receivables at U.S. Bank is responsible for supporting the sale and implementation of complex technical products and services. This role requires a deep understanding of the company's offerings and how they integrate into customer operations, focusing on a solution-oriented approach to drive new business. The consultant will build customer confidence in technical solutions, address objections, and engage in pre-proposal discussions, proposal preparation, and training of the sales team.
Responsibilities
- Support the sale and implementation of technical products and services.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the technical aspects of products and services.
- Build customer confidence in technical solutions and address objections throughout the sales cycle.
- Engage in pre-proposal discussions with potential customers, both in person and via conference calls.
- Develop and deliver customized client proposals, demonstrations, and presentations.
- Consult on technical sales strategy for customers and assist in proposal preparation.
- Provide pricing recommendations and implementation support.
- Train the sales team on product technical details.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Typically 10 or more years of related experience, preferably in selling complex integrated solutions.

- Proficient technical and analytical acumen.
- Considerable knowledge of products and solutions in primary area of responsibility.
- Solid proficiency in demonstrating complex software-based solutions.
