About the position

Seco Tools is looking for a motivated and results-driven Regional/Territory Technical Sales Professional in the Greater Kansas City, MO area. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven ability to drive growth and expand market share. Experience in technical sales is highly desirable. The ideal candidate should also have a growth-minded approach, with the ability to forge new relationships and manage existing client accounts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new end user customers and manage existing customer accounts to assure customer retention and development of new business opportunities for increased product sales.
  • Optimize sales with distribution channel partners through joint calls, end user leads, and technical product support.
  • Conduct territory planning, sales administrative activities, and reporting.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of proven successful territory or regional sales experience in a technical, consultative, solution-oriented sales role.
  • Proven experience in the manufacturing or distributor focused sales environment.
  • Strong technical aptitude in a manufacturing environment where product application solutions are required.
  • Strong skills in qualifying, demonstrating, and influencing customers.
  • Metal cutting knowledge and experience.
