About the position

Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join its FAST Development Program in the East Region, specifically in Schaumburg, Illinois. This program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the sales and applications field, combining technical training with hands-on experiences. The FAST program consists of three rotations over a 7-month period, each aimed at equipping Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) with the skills necessary to build and manage customer relationships effectively. The first rotation, Field Sales Office (FSO), lasts for three months and immerses TSAs in the local TI sales team environment. Here, they will gain firsthand experience of TI's sales process, working closely with customers and internal teams to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities. The second rotation focuses on Product Marketing for two months, where TSAs will learn about product life cycles, marketing strategies, and collaboration with product marketing teams. The final rotation, Sales Operations, also spans two months and provides insight into pricing models, customer service, and the commercial aspects of customer relationships. Upon successful completion of the FAST program, participants will transition into the role of Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) within TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. TSRs will leverage their technical expertise and sales tools to identify projects, manage leads, and develop annual revenue growth plans. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to blend technical skills with business acumen in a dynamic and supportive environment.
