About the position

At Texas Instruments (TI), we are committed to shaping the future of electronics, and we invite you to be a part of this journey through our Career Accelerator Program (CAP). This program is designed to provide you with the professional and technical training necessary to accelerate your integration into TI and set you up for long-term career success. From your very first day, you will engage in hands-on, meaningful experiences that will encourage you to solve problems and develop your skills in a supportive environment. As part of the CAP, you will have the opportunity to participate in the FAST (Field Applications & Sales Training) Program, which prepares Sales & Applications team members for customer-oriented careers that blend technical skills with business acumen. This program consists of two tracks: Field Applications and Technical Sales. Over a span of seven months, you will learn how to build and manage customer relationships and influence decisions to drive TI's revenue growth. The FAST program includes three rotations: 1. **Field Sales Office (FSO)**: In this three-month rotation, you will work closely with a local TI sales team, gaining first-hand experience of TI's sales process. You will partner with customers and internal teams to uncover and win opportunities, utilizing our unique virtual account system to navigate real-time and simulated environments. 2. **Product Marketing**: This two-month rotation focuses on the interplay between sales and a specific product line, helping you understand product life cycles, marketing strategies, and collaboration with product marketing teams. 3. **Sales Operations**: In the final two-month rotation, you will gain experience with pricing and customer service teams, focusing on pricing models, supply chain functions, and price negotiation. Upon successful completion of the FAST program, you will transition into the role of Technical Sales Representative (TSR) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. As a TSR, your responsibilities will include leveraging your technical expertise and sales tools to identify projects, managing leads, and developing an annual revenue growth plan.
