Texas Instruments (TI) is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join their FAST Development Program in Santa Clara, California. This program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the sales process and technical applications within the semiconductor industry. As a participant in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), you will receive professional and technical training that will set you up for long-term career success at TI. The FAST program specifically prepares Sales & Applications team members for customer-oriented careers that combine technical skills with business perspectives. The FAST program consists of three rotations over a 7-month period. The first rotation is in the Field Sales Office (FSO), where you will work closely with a local TI sales team to gain first-hand experience in TI's sales process. This includes partnering with customers and internal teams to identify and win customer opportunities. The second rotation focuses on Product Marketing, allowing you to understand product life cycles, marketing strategies, and collaboration with product marketing teams. The final rotation is in Sales Operations, where you will gain insights into pricing models, customer service, and the commercial aspects of customer relationships. Upon successful completion of the FAST program, participants will transition into the role of Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs) on TI's Worldwide Sales & Applications team. TSRs will utilize their technical expertise and sales tools to identify projects, manage leads, and develop plans for revenue growth. This role requires a balance of strong technical skills and relationship-building capabilities, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
