About the position

The Technical Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving new business and managing existing accounts within the electronic test and measurement sector. This role involves working autonomously across a designated territory, engaging with clients from various industries including education, automotive, aerospace, and R&D manufacturing. The position offers a competitive salary with uncapped commission potential, along with a company car and additional benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business and account management within the allocated territory.
  • Schedule and conduct face-to-face meetings with clients.
  • Maintain profit margins and negotiate costs effectively.
  • Network and grow existing accounts while acquiring new clients.
  • Work with a range of clients from SMEs to blue-chip organizations.

Requirements

  • Sales experience, ideally in electronics, electrical, physics, or capital equipment sales.
  • Understanding of test & measurement or instrumentation equipment is advantageous.
  • Strong new business development skills.

  • Experience in technical sales within the electronic test and measurement industry.
  • Background in engineering or related technical fields.
