About the position

The Technical Sales Engineer will support customers and drive the success of innovative technology solutions. This hybrid role involves collaborating with customers and internal teams to ensure seamless product installations, resolving technical issues, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot products for customer deployments
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support during pre-sales and post-sales phases
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with engineering and support teams to achieve company goals
  • Manage and triage field service tickets, performing analysis to drive resolutions
  • Scope product applications, evaluate performance, and assist with installations
  • Develop tools and procedures to streamline issue resolution and technical processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a related sales engineering role
  • Knowledge of automation systems, robotics, or related technologies
  • Proficiency with networking, Windows, and Linux operating systems
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel 30-50%
