About the position

The Technical Sales - Regional Account Manager role at Suez Water Technologies & Solutions focuses on managing and supporting relationships with existing industrial customers while seeking to expand the customer base. Responsibilities

  • Manage and support relationships with existing industrial customers.
  • Develop opportunities to improve operations of existing water assets.
  • Expand the customer base by seeking new customers for Veolia products and services.
  • Drive the entire sales process including lead generation, qualifying opportunities, and closing deals.
  • Support the Regional Services team with contract execution and customer relationship management.
  • Define client benefits, customer assets, and key deliverables accurately.
  • Lead negotiations with support from various teams including legal and finance.
  • Collaborate with other commercial teams to maximize synergy and growth initiatives.
  • Create and manage a strategic growth plan detailing sales strategies and market focus.
  • Forecast and track sales performance against plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technical or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in client services, relationship management, or sales in the water and wastewater treatment industry.
  • Strong presentation skills, both spoken and written.
  • Experience in operations, maintenance, piloting, service, or design in the water treatment industry.
  • Creative, collaborative, and self-directed with strong listening skills.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, CIT, Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with strategic selling principles such as Miller Heiman.
