About the position

The Technical Sales Representative role is designed for a driven professional passionate about connecting clients with advanced engineering solutions. This position focuses on business growth in the industrial sector, leveraging expertise in advanced manufacturing technologies such as PLCs, HMIs, and robotics. The representative will build strong client relationships and drive impactful sales while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients in the industrial sector.
  • Identify client needs and communicate opportunities to the engineering team.
  • Represent our solutions at client sites and trade shows to drive new business.
  • Deliver technical insights and build rapport with both clients and internal teams.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field (preferred) or business degree with relevant sales experience.
  • 3+ years in outside sales, ideally within engineering or technical services.
  • Knowledge of industrial systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, and mechanical/electrical systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build long-term client relationships.
