About the position

The Technical Sales Representative (TSR) at Weatherford is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with strategic customers, leveraging product knowledge and operational experience to sell systems and services within the Cementation portfolio. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, managing the sales lifecycle, and enhancing customer engagement to meet revenue targets.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain safety and service quality as top priorities across all business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate governance and relevant policies.
  • Own opportunities and enter them into Salesforce.
  • Utilize available technology effectively in sales processes.
  • Advise clients on company participation in sales opportunities.
  • Discuss technical specifications with clients and gather feedback.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to resolve customer issues.
  • Oversee business risk areas and work with management to mitigate risks.
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from start to finish.
  • Understand customer needs and position products and services accordingly.
  • Respond to the Client Engagement Plan to enhance profitability.
  • Propose solutions to customers through formal and informal channels.
  • Relay competitive information to product line stakeholders.
  • Develop specific client application value propositions.
  • Identify opportunities for new products and services and liaise with internal resources.
  • Visit customer worksites to ensure product and service satisfaction.
  • Generate annual revenue targets through effective sales strategies.
  • Identify and address revenue gaps to ensure target achievement.
  • Assist in formulating sales strategies and budgets with the Technical Sales Manager.
  • Deliver positive commercial results through strong negotiation skills.
  • Evaluate sales performance and identify upsell opportunities.
  • Support line management in resource utilization for Geozone sales.
  • Promote Weatherford values and culture within the team.
  • Coordinate education for the internal sales community.
  • Participate in sales training to gain cross-product line knowledge.

Requirements

  • 4 years of Weatherford, industry technical or operational experience with Cementation or 2 years of business development experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to quickly gain a broad knowledge of Weatherford products and services.
