About the position

The Technical Sales Specialist for Continuous Gas Analyzers is responsible for driving sales of products, systems, and services within the designated market in alignment with ABB's division strategy. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, enhancing customer satisfaction, and identifying new market opportunities while leveraging existing industry relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions.
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities as needed.
  • Leverage existing relationships in the industry to create new selling opportunities for ABB.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in technology with 5 years of experience in instrumentation as a customer, seller, technician, or project manager.
  • Solid understanding of analytics including GC's, FTIR, Tuneable Diode Lasers, CGA, and CWA.
  • Working knowledge of instrumentation is an asset.
  • Ability to develop relationships at all levels within ABB, channel partners, and end users.
