About the position

The Technical Sales Specialist - Hoisting at ABB is responsible for driving sales of products, systems, and services within the designated market, aligning with the division's strategy. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing new market opportunities, and ensuring customer satisfaction while managing administrative sales processes. The position is remote and contributes to the Process Automation Process Industries division.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery times, payments, and general terms and conditions in line with ABB's offerings.
  • Ensure efficient marketing activities and communicate the value proposition to customers.
  • Identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Manage administrative procedures in sales processes and support cash collection and project management activities when needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 10+ years of related experience, or an associate's degree and 12+ years of related experience, or a high school diploma and 14+ years of related experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Mine Hoist market.
  • Deep technical knowledge and experience in Mine Hoists Mechanical Systems or similar applications.
  • Experience in management or engineering of mine hoist projects.
  • Experience in preparing tenders, making presentations, and interacting with internal and external customer organizations.
