About the position

The Associate Account Manager position within the Technical Sales Training Program at Trane Technologies is designed for recent graduates who are eager to develop their careers in sales engineering. This role focuses on selling innovative climate solutions and building management controls to commercial customers, while also participating in a comprehensive 5-month training program that equips candidates with the necessary technical, business, and sales skills. The position emphasizes relationship building, problem-solving, and technical expertise to address customer challenges in the HVAC industry.

Responsibilities

  • Sell efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.
  • Participate in the Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) to gain intensive technical, business, sales, and leadership training.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial customers by addressing their challenges and providing solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or Engineering (preferred).
  • U.S. citizenship or legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months with proof of insurance and a clean driving record.
