Our Graduate Training Program is designed to develop future leaders in the field of technical sales, specifically within the HVAC industry. This 5-month program is recognized as one of the most comprehensive training programs in the industry, providing participants with intensive training in technical skills, business acumen, sales engineering, and leadership. As a participant, you will begin your journey with onboarding at a designated office location before the training commences in January or July. The ideal candidates for this program are those who are eager to become technical experts for our commercial customers, adept at building and maintaining relationships, and passionate about solving the challenges our customers face. You will be responsible for selling Trane Technologies' climate solutions products, contributing to a more sustainable world. This role is not just about sales; it’s about making a meaningful impact in building efficiency and sustainability through our Equipment, Service, or Controls/Building Automation offerings. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Training Program, you will transition into the role of Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls. In this capacity, you will engage with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to design, apply, and sell systems, controls, parts, and services tailored to our customers' needs. This position is remote, based in Shreveport, Louisiana, and offers a unique opportunity to thrive both professionally and personally, with benefits that kick in on day one.

Responsibilities

  • Sell efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Technology, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building management controls.
