About the position

This comprehensive 5-month program provides recent graduates with intensive training in technical skills, business acumen, sales engineering, and leadership. Participants will begin their journey at a designated office location before the training commences in January or July. The ideal candidates for this program are those who are eager to become technical experts for our commercial customers, build and maintain strong relationships, and sell our climate solutions products to contribute to a sustainable future. As part of the GTP, you will join Trane Technologies' Commercial HVAC sales team, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on building efficiency and sustainability. After successfully completing the program, you will transition into the role of Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls. In this position, you will be responsible for selling a comprehensive range of HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners to design, apply, and sell systems, controls, parts, and services tailored to our customers' needs. Responsibilities

  • Sell efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building management controls.
