About the position

At Trane Technologies, we are committed to creating innovative climate solutions that challenge the status quo and promote sustainability. Our Graduate Training Program (GTP) is designed to develop future leaders in the field of Technical Sales. This 5-month program is recognized as the industry's most comprehensive training initiative, providing participants with intensive training in technical skills, business acumen, sales engineering, and leadership. The program begins with onboarding at a predetermined office location, followed by training sessions that start in either January or July. As a participant in the GTP, you will become a technical expert for our valued commercial customers, helping them solve challenges and sell Trane Technologies' climate solutions products. This role is crucial in achieving a more sustainable world, as you will be part of a team that focuses on building efficiency and sustainability through our Equipment, Service, or Controls/Building Automation offerings. After successfully completing the program, you will transition into the role of Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls, where you will work closely with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers to design, apply, and sell our HVAC systems and services.

Responsibilities

  • Sell the complete line of efficient heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design, application, and sale of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building management controls.
