About the position

Our Graduate Training Program is designed to develop future leaders in the field of technical sales, specifically within the Commercial HVAC sector. This 5-month program is recognized as one of the most comprehensive training experiences in the industry, providing participants with intensive training in technical skills, business acumen, sales engineering, and leadership. As a participant, you will begin your journey with onboarding at a designated office location before the training commences, which can start in either January or July. The ideal candidates for this program are those who are eager to become technical experts for our valued commercial customers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with these customers, addressing their challenges, and selling Trane Technologies' climate solutions products. This role is not just about sales; it’s about contributing to a sustainable future by helping our customers achieve their goals in energy efficiency and environmental responsibility. Upon successful completion of the Graduate Training Program, you will transition into the role of Associate Account Manager, specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls. In this capacity, you will sell a comprehensive line of HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional clients. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and developers to design and implement effective solutions for their buildings. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on building efficiency and sustainability.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the Trane Technologies Graduate Training Program (GTP) successfully.
  • Assume the responsibilities of an Associate Account Manager specializing in Systems, Services, or Controls.
  • Sell HVAC equipment and building management controls to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and owners/developers in the design and application of systems, controls, parts, and services for customer buildings.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in engineering (open to all engineering areas of emphasis).
  • Be a U.S. citizen or have the legal right to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Possess a valid driver's license for a minimum of 12 months and provide proof of insurance with no major or frequent traffic violations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in sales or customer service roles.
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems and building management controls.
